'Tere Baap ko Bolunga', KCR Loses Cool at Voter Who Queried About 12% Quota For Muslims

Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday faced flak from Opposition parties for losing cool on a man, who asked him about the proposed 12 per cent reservation for Muslims during an election rally in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district of the poll bound state.
Insisting the man to remain silent, Rao reportedly said,”What are you talking? Sit silent. What about 12 per cent? Why are you in hurry? Tere baap ko bolunga na (I will tell your father). Are you doing tamasha.” The TRS leader had earlier accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of not clearing the proposed reservation for Muslims.
If reports are to be believed, the man asked Rao about the status of the proposed quota which was passed by the State Assembly and sent to the Centre for approval.
Reacting sharply to this, Congress’ Telangana unit tweeted,”Drunk with power, KCR acts like a dictator. KCR, you are answerable to the people of Telangana. Arrogance and dictatorship have no space in a democracy!”
Former India cricketer and senior Congress leader Mohammed Azharuddin said KCR should tender an apology and also answer the question about the 12 per cent reservation he promised for Muslims.  “He should tender an apology. He should not have said that. Why should he make such promises when he knows very well that it cannot be fulfilled,” Azharuddin, who is the Congress’ Telangana unit working president, said.
A few days back, at an election rally at Mahabubnagar district of the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had attacked KCR over the issue saying,”TRS’s talk of (raising) Muslim reservations is vote bank politics which the Congress has been doing for a long time.”
Telangana will go to polls to choose a new government on December 7, 2018 with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) bidding to retain power and the Congress-led alliance ready for a no-holds-barred contest. The 119-member Assembly was dissolved on September 6 on the recommendation of the K Chandrasekhar Rao-led TRS government, more than eight months ahead of the expiry of its term, paving the way for early elections.
